Dear Parents/Guardians,
Jai Hind,
Diwali and Chhath Puja are two significant festivals in Indian culture, symbolizing a profound blend of our traditions and core values. These festivals not only strengthen our religious beliefs but also foster positivity, unity, and harmony within society. Diwali signifies the triumph of good over evil and the journey from darkness to light. On this day, lit lamps symbolize hope, love, and prosperity in life. Meanwhile, Chhath Puja is a festival of nature and sun worship, where we express gratitude to the Sun God and acknowledge the vital life energy provided by him. These festivals connect us deeply with our social and cultural roots, teaching us unity and gratitude toward nature.
To highlight the importance of these festivals, the children at Jeevan Deep Public School recently presented a concise yet heartwarming program. Through their enthusiasm and innocence, the children brought the cultural aspects of these festivals to life. During Diwali, they celebrated the Festival of Lights with colorful lamps and decorations, while the soulful songs and dances of Chhath Puja showcased the beauty and depth of this nature-centric festival. These performances served as a reminder of the core values of Indian culture, and the children's efforts touched the hearts of all present.
In addition to this program, a rangoli-making competition was organized among the children of three different school houses, where they actively participated and created beautiful designs with vibrant colors. Through these activities, the children not only demonstrated their creativity but also expressed their love and respect for cultural heritage.
We are delighted to share glimpses of these wonderful presentations with all of you, capturing the dedicated efforts of our young students.
